I am delighted to share my journey as an author with you. Let me begin by telling you a bit about myself. I am a passionate storyteller, but my path to discovering the joy of books and writing was not a traditional one. As someone heavily dyslexic, school proved to be a challenging environment for me, and it hindered my ability to fully enjoy reading.

However, everything changed when I stumbled upon Audible. Through the magic of audiobooks, I was transported into countless worlds, immersing myself in diverse tales and unlocking the power of storytelling. My library quickly grew, spanning across various genres and captivating narratives.

The turning point came during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Determined to challenge myself, I took a leap of faith and began writing my own story. What started as a small project soon blossomed into a full-blown novel. The process of crafting the narrative ignited my creativity, allowing me to delve into uncharted territories of imagination.

After sharing my work with several individuals who responded positively, I felt inspired to take a leap of faith and pursue publication. And now, here we are, on this incredible journey together.

Also, continuing the journey of bringing 'The Undying - Apotheosis' to life, I would like to share the exciting process of editing, formatting, and marketing the book.

During the editing phase, I recognized the importance of professional guidance to refine my manuscript. That's when I had the privilege of collaborating with Tommy Crabtree, the esteemed author of 'Homo Nova.' Tommy's expertise and insight transformed my book into something truly special. His valuable feedback and suggestions elevated the storytelling and ensured a polished final product.

To further enhance the quality of my work, I entrusted the final proofreading to Steve Lockey, a seasoned author with an impressive repertoire, including notable titles such as 'Terror of Wales,' 'The Dragonbone Sword,' and 'Alt Dead.' Steve's meticulous eye for detail and extensive experience in the publishing industry brought another level of refinement to my book, making it even stronger.

For the formatting process, I decided to embark on a new learning adventure by tackling it myself using Adobe InDesign. It was a rewarding and enjoyable experience, allowing me to have full creative control over the layout and design of the book.

When it came to the cover art, I had the privilege of collaborating with the talented team at JD&J. Their artistic vision and expertise captured the essence of 'The Undying - Apotheosis' and created a captivating cover that entices readers to dive into the story.

Now, as I embark on the next phase of this incredible journey, I am navigating the exciting and ever-evolving world of book marketing. Learning how to effectively promote my book is indeed a different kind of beast altogether. I am immersing myself in various marketing strategies, from social media campaigns to engaging with book reviewers and seeking opportunities to connect with readers who share a love for sci-fi horror.

It is an exhilarating experience, and I am grateful for the support and guidance I have received thus far.
